Imperfect Translations (2026)
Editorial / Book Design
Personal ProjectA compilation of personal essays, observations, and design reflections exploring how identity and understanding are shaped by the things that surround them. Moving between memory, language, typography, and the surreal embedded in the everyday, the book frames design and creation as acts of translation - inherently imperfect ones, where meaning lives most vividly in the gaps and misalignments left behind.
Private Parking (2026)
Graphic Design / Installation
Collaboration with Hamin SeoPrivate Parking is a collection of anonymous confessions in installation form. Inspired by the idea of "non-places" - transitional public spaces where people gather, but remain very much anonymous and do not build collective memory - strangers were asked to submit personal, secretive stories that would otherwise not be told via google survey. Through graphics, the stories were deliberately abstracted, laid on silk organza and hung around a small "room" constructed of pipe material.
Kappus (2026)
Type Design
Personal ProjectSerif typeface inspired by "Letters to A Young Poet" by Rainer Maria Rilke, a collection of ten letters Rilke wrote to a young poet seeking advice. As they unfold, the letters become more than just about poetry—a guide to love, solitude, patience, and living from the inside out. With its organic, curvaceous visual expression, Kappus mirrors the intimacy of Rilke's voice : warm but concise, unhurried, and sincere.

117-1403 (2026)
Graphic / Editorial Design
Personal ProjectA memoir of my family house of fifteen years - apartment 1403 in building 117 - and the chaotic, dense interior landscape. The book is structured in three iterative phases, each inheriting from the last: a visual response to an excerpt from Adolf Loos's Ornament and Crime, a catalogue of our home furniture and embedded memories, and finally, a set of ornamental glyphs inspired by their decorative details.
This project reflects on objects as tokens that index memory, and explore how we choose - either consciously or subconsciously - which memories to keep alive, and how to keep them alive.
LACE (2026)
Web / Tool Design
Personal ProjectLACE is a web-based lace pattern generator that utilizes the ornamental glyphs created for 117-1403. Influenced by my love for machine knitting, the interface and motion initiation hints at knitting and the mechanism of knitting machines, while also having the option to generate an actual knitting punchcard pattern as an outcome.
POZES (2023)
Visual Identity / Graphic
Client : MDM Group
Designed @ Interbrand
Creative Direction: Hajin JungIdentity design for Pozes, a luxury residential brand known for its exclusive views of the Han River. The logo visualizes a curve encircling the stem of the letter "P," symbolizing "possession" and subtly emphasizing the brand's commitment to offering an exclusive, coveted lifestyle.
Foil (2025)
Editorial / Book Design
Personal ProjectFoil is a collection of five writings paired with corresponding images that expands the definition of the word "foil." The works explore foil as a point of tension between reflection and reversal; a corrective tool; a means to reflect, contain, or isolate; a form of sameness that sharpens difference; and a veneer that masks, conceals, or distracts. The image and text are split into two sections that mirror each other, so that the reader can flip through both parts simultaneously. The cover, as well as all the text in the book, was silver-foiled.
